The Pakistan board’s integrity committee has offered its full cooperation to the ECB, should the England board decide to hold an inquiry into Danish Kaneria’s alleged involvement in the Mervyn Westfield spot-fixing case, Taffuzul Rizvi, the PCB’s legal advisor, has said.Kaneria, the former Pakistan and Essex legspinner, was not on trial in London, where former Essex bowler Westfield was sentenced to four months in jail after pleading guilty to the charge of accepting or obtaining corrupt payments. Kaneria’s name, however, dominated the proceedings in court as he was presented as the influential figure who led Westfield astray.Westfield, 23, had admitted to accepting £6000 in return for conceding a set number of runs in an over during a Pro40 match against Durham in September 2009. Kaneria, who was arrested along with Westfield in 2010 only for charges to be dropped due to a lack of evidence, could now face an investigation by the ECB.”This match was an England domestic match, so it’s in the ECB’s basic jurisdiction, but since Danish is a Pakistan player we are obviously looking into the matter with a lot of concern,” Rizvi told ESPNcricinfo. “The stance of the PCB is one of zero tolerance towards any player with questionable integrity.”The judgment of Westfield raised a lot of questions but in law everybody is innocent until proven guilty. وقال أنشيلوتي في مؤتمره الصحفي: “الفوز بهذا الشكل ليس بالأمر السهل، قبل كل شيء بسبب الطريقة التي بدأت بها المباراة، لم نفقد الثقة أبدًا وفزنا شيئًا فشيء بالسيطرة على الكرة، لعبنا بشكل جيد في الهجوم وقدم فينيسيوس جونيور أداءً لا يصدق الليلة”.

وأضاف: “هذا فقط الجزء الأول من المواجهة، سارت الأمور لصالحنا، لكن سنحتاج إلى تخيل أنه في مباراة الإياب سنضطر إلى المعاناة والعمل الجاد”.

Depois de ser denunciado por funcionário da Eletrobras por estar portanto arma de brinquedo e ameaçá-lo, Walter teve que fazer um depoimento nesta sexta-feira, na delegacia e Central de Flagrantes em Maceió. Depois disso, foi liberado pelo delegado Antônio Carlos Machado junto ao presidente do CSA, que estava acompanhando o atleta. A informação foi publicada primeiro pelo “Globo Esporte” e confirmada pelo LANCE!.

– Ele foi ouvido pela delegado e não precisou pagar fiança – disse ao ‘Globo Esporte’ Raimundo Tavares, presidente do Conselho Deliberativo do CSA, que também lamentou o caso.

– É uma situação chata, mas lidar com o ser humano é complicado. O CSA já emitiu uma nota oficial e na segunda-feira a gente vai conversar com o jogador e tomar as providências cabíveis – completou o dirigente do CSA ao portal.

De acordo com a polícia, um dos funcionários da Eletrobras chegou a relatar que foi agredido pelo jogador com um tapa no rosto.

ENTENDA O CASO

Mais cedo, o atacante Walter foi detido com uma arma de brinquedo, em Maceió. O jogador, que está atuando no CSA e se recupera de lesão no joelho esquerdo, foi levado à delegacia da região para esclarecer o caso, após denúncia de funcionário da Eletrobras, que foi à sua casa para cortar sua luz.

O jogador ainda se pronunciou sobre o acontecimento. Walter relatou que foi um mal entendido, e confirmou que tem um comprovante da arma de brinquedo. Além disso, pediu desculpas pelo ocorrido.

– O que aconteceu foi um mal entendido, sabe? Eu, com uma arma de brinquedo de casa, que tenho o comprovante que posso ir para qualquer lugar com ela. Nesse momento, o cara foi cortar a luz de casa e eu desci com essa arma. O cara pensou que eu tinha jurado ele, de alguma forma. Não foi isso o que aconteceu. Eu peço desculpas por tudo, o acidente, tudo. Não foi por mal. Quem me conhece, sabe. É isso aí. Foi um momento errado, uma hora errada – disse ao G1.

A Eletrobras também soltou uma nota oficial dizendo que Walter já teria ameaçado outros dois funcionários em algumas ocasiões. A nota ainda cita que o jogador estaria com fatura de pagamento atrasada, por isso o corte luz.
