يخطط نادي ليفربول لإجراء محادثات مع لاعب الفريق روبرتو فيرمينو، في الفترة المقبلة، لبحث مستقبله في الأنفيلد.

ومن المقرر أن ينتهي العقد الحالي للاعب البرازيلي مع ليفربول في صيف 2023، أي نهاية الموسم المقبل.

وكان فيرمينو جزءًا من الثلاثي الهجومي الشهير الذي يضم كل من محمد صلاح وساديو ماني، ولكن الأخير رحل هذا الصيف إلى بايرن ميونخ.

وبينما حُسم مستقبل محمد صلاح بعد توقيعه على عقد جديد أمس حتى عام 2025، فإن الغموض يحيط في الوقت الحالي بمستقبل فيرمينو.

وذكرت صحيفة “ميرور” الإنجليزية أن فيرمينو يجذب انتباه يوفنتوس، ويُعتقد أن العمالقة الإيطاليين يستطيعون إقتناصه بأقل من 20 مليون جنيه إسترليني.

وأوضحت أن ليفربول ليس لديه أي اهتمام باقتراحات أن يوفنتوس قد يعرض على ليفربول لاعب خط الوسط الفرنسي أدريان رابيو مقابل المهاجم البرازيلي.

وأشارت إلى إنه بالرغم من ذلك، فإن ليفربول يخطط لإجراء محادثات مع فيرمينو ومستشاريه في الأسابيع المقبلة.

وإذا أشار المهاجم إلى رغبته في البحث عن تحدٍ جديد، فمن المحتمل أن يستفيد ليفربول ماليًا من بيعه في الوقت الحالي، بدلاً من خسارة اللاعب البالغ من العمر 30 عامًا مقابل لا شيء في الصيف المقبل.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles’ meeting with Arsenal over his future did not go well, Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge has told Football FanCast.

Maitland-Niles has made it abundantly clear that he wants to leave Arsenal and has attracted strong interest from Everton at this closing stage of the transfer window.

In fact, according to Sky Sports, Everton made an offer on Monday to take the 24-year-old midfielder, who can also play at right-back, on loan.

Maitland-Niles has held discussions with the club as he tries to force an exit, but Bridge has been informed that those talks did not go to plan.

“He had a meeting yesterday about his future and it didn’t go very well,” the Sky Sports journalist told FFC. “I don’t know what’s going on with Arsenal, I really don’t.”

Maitland-Niles has played just 19 minutes of Premier League football this season, which came in the 5-0 thrashing to Manchester City at the Etihad.

The England international was also loaned out to West Brom last term, so he is clearly a player Mikel Arteta can live without.

From Maitland-Niles’ perspective, it is easy to understand why he is upset and frustrated with his club’s decision. In January, perhaps they may reconsider their stance.

The fate of the US$70 million deal between the BCCI and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has become a matter of intense speculation; however, official negotiators from both sides continue to insist the ten-year arrangement is very much in place and is currently in the “discussion stage”. Indian board officials said the deal is not a bailout package from the BCCI or IPL for Sri Lanka but part of a “revenue-sharing arrangement” offered by the Champions Twenty20 League to all participating nations.A series of news reports from Sri Lanka over the last week suggested top Indian officials told the Sri Lankan delegation during a meeting in Bangkok that they would not move forward on the deal as long as Arjuna Ranatunga was in charge of SLC. However, Indian officials associated with the discussions said no such statement was made, at least during official discussions.Neither board was willing to officially comment on the matter. Duleep Mendis, the SLC chief executive, told Cricinfo the issue was being handled by the sports ministry while Niranjan Shah, the IPL vice-chairman, said details of the deal were only a matter of speculation.Graeme Labrooy, secretary of the Sri Lanka Cricketers’ Association, which played a vital role in negotiating the package, said the deal was still on though some “technical issues” needed to be sorted out. “A US$70m offer over a ten-year period cannot be finalised at one meeting,” Labrooy said. “We need to look at the international cricket calendar and see what windows are open to us to fit in our programmes. There are some technical issues that we need to look into before finalising such a deal.”A senior Indian official agreed with Labrooy’s assessment, but gave a completely different twist to the deal. “The common misconception has been that this is a bailout package from the BCCI for Sri Lanka cricket, or the IPL,” the official said. “But that’s simply not true.”Australia and South Africa, which are sending two teams for the Champions League, are likely to get amounts in the region of $150m and $120m for ten years, from the $975m that the tournament is worth,” the official said. “Now Sri Lanka has been invited to take part from next year, and will send one team and hence gets a lesser amount. There will be similar deals with all participating countries, be it England, West Indies or Pakistan.” The official described the Bangkok meeting as “normal” and added that “nothing was said against any Lankan official during the official negotiations.”The BCCI holds a 50% share in the tournament, which is expected to feature a Sri Lankan domestic team from next year. However, sources in Sri Lanka insisted that the Indian officials expressed disappointment at the “attitude” of Ranatunga, who had described the Twenty20 cricket as “instant noodles” and later attributed India’s defeat during a recent Test series in Sri Lanka to a Twenty20 overdose. The Indian officials told the Lankan delegation in Bangkok the “deal is out because we understand that your chairman is trying to take the credit for it”, the sources said. The BCCI was also irked by Ranatunga’s comment during the recent ICC meeting in Dubai that the deal was an “endeavour to buy over Sri Lanka cricket”, the sources said.Lalit Modi, the IPL chairman, Niranjan Shah and N Srinivasan, the BCCI secretary, are understood to have conveyed these views in Bangkok last Sunday to the Lankan delegation that comprised S Liyanagama, the Sports Minister’s secretary, Duleep Mendis, Sidath Wettimuny, SLC’s interim committee member, and Labrooy.Liyanagama is expected to convey the results of this meeting to Gamini Lokuge, Sri Lanka’s sports minister, who had initiated discussions on this deal with the Indian board.

The ECB has announced a 150% increase in prize money for next season’s domestic tournaments, with the biggest prize going to the winners of the County Championship. This year Durham pocketed £100,000, but next year’s champions will collect £500,000.The players from the winning county will share £350,000 and the county £150,000. The total prize money and reward payment for the County Championship will rise to £1,060,000. The runners up will receive £225,000 of which £175,000 will go to the players and £50,000 to the county. In 2008 the runners-up received £40,000.There are also significant rises in the prize money and reward payments for the winners of the final Pro40 competition and for the county which lifts the Friends Provident Trophy at the Lord’s final in late July.”The ECB board strongly believe that it was important to increase the prize fund available to all competitions on the back of the rise of the opportunities provided by Twenty20 cricket and we were particularly anxious to increase the money that was available for the winners of the Championship,” David Collier, the board’s chief executive, said. “These increases reward both players and counties and in a difficult economic climate demonstrate the strength of cricket and our confidence in the domestic game. “

Hasenhuttl has previously called the defender “fantastic” a couple of years ago (via Read Southampton) – he is someone with plenty of ability, but he needs to play. Should the move to Olympiacos go through, this is a move Valery can grab with both hands.

Chapecoense e Cruzeiro empataram por 0 a 0 na Arena Condá, na noite desta quinta-feira. A partida foi válida pelas oitavas de final da Copa do Brasil. Como o Cruzeiro venceu o primeiro jogo por 1 a 0, no Mineirão, a equipe de Mano Menezes segue viva na competição e se junta às outras sete que já tinham conquistado a classificação (Atlético-PR, Grêmio, Santos, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Botafogo e Atlético-MG). Precisando de dois gols para se classificar, a Chapecoense começou em cima do Cruzeiro. A equipe mineira apostava na saída de bola em velocidade para criar perigo ao adversário. Até os 20 minutos, ambas as equipes tiveram chances de marcar, porém a Chape passava a tomar mais conta do jogo.

Apesar do domínio da equipe catarinense, o Cruzeiro vinha conseguindo segurar o o placar. Arthur Caike teve três chances de marcar para a equipe mandante, mas errou o alvo em todas as oportunidades. Antes do fim do primeiro tempo, o Cruzeiro ainda teve chance clara de marcar com Hudson, que chutou em cima de Jandrei. A partida foi para o intervalo empatada em 0 a 0, resultado que ia classificando a equipe mineira à próxima fase.

No primeiro lance da segunda etapa, após cobrança de escanteio, a bola sobrou para Wellington Paulista que mandou para o gol. O árbitro Péricles Bassols, no entanto, marcou falta de Victor Ramos na jogada, anulando o gol da Chapecoense.

O domínio da Chape continuou no segundo tempo. A equipe de Vagner Mancini, porém, não conseguia transformar as suas oportunidades em gols. Apesar das investidas da Chapecoense, o Cruzeiro conseguiu segurar o 0 a 0 até o final e se classificou para a próxima fase. A Chape ainda teve mais um gol bem anulado, aos 47 minutos. A equipe de Chapecó agora tem suas atenções voltadas para o Brasileirão e para a Sul-Americana, caso o recurso apresentado pelo clube não dê resultado e a equipe seja mesmo eliminada da Libertadores. وأعلن إبراهيم القاسم أمين عام الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم، في تصريحات لصحيفة “الشرق الأوسط”، عن انطلاق معسكر منتخب السعودية الأول في السابع عشر من شهر أكتوبر المقبل.

وأوضح القاسم، أن معسكر منتخب السعودية سيكون لمدة 35 يومًا كاملًا قبل انطلاق منافسات كأس العالم.

وجاء ذلك بعد مطالبات من هيرفي رينارد المدير الفني لمنتخب السعودية بإقامة معسكر إعداد لكأس العالم لمدة 40 يومًا.

ويتواجد منتخب السعودية في المجموعة الثالثة بمنافسات المونديال إلى جوار منتخبات الأرجنتين وبولندا والمكسيك.

O primeiro tempo controlamos bem, essa era a estratégia de segurar o ímpeto do Corinthians. No momento em que sofremos o gol, tínhamos o jogo controlado. O comandante também isentou o gaúcho Pedro Vuaden de qualquer relação com o revés em São Paulo. O juiz não marcou uma suposta falta de Pablo em Ábila. Aos olhos do técnico, porém, a falta não existiu. Ele foi além e ainda elogiou a arbitragem.

– Não quero entrar nessa polêmica. Você sabe que dou um boi para entrar nessa briga, mas atualmente não. Acho que o Vuaden fez uma arbitragem muito boa. Não foi determinante para o resultado do jogo, embora possa ter acontecido um lance de penalidade máxima. Acho que no jogo contra a Chapecoense aconteceu um contra a gente que o árbitro não marcou. Não foi isso. O jogo foi bem arbitrado para os dois lados, com critérios definidos, o jogo andou, é gostoso ver jogo assim. Às vezes você reclama de um lance isolado, todos têm direito de achar que é ou não é, mas não creio que tenha sido determinante para o resultado do jogo. Ele fez boa arbitragem – finalizou.
