Após a vitória de 2 a 1 sobre o Volta Redonda, o Cruzeiro chegou a sexta vitória em seis jogos nesta temporada. Algo, obviamente, a ser celebrado pelo treinador Mano Menezes, que ‘agradeceu’ aos jogadores pelo feito.

Confiante, ele projetou uma sequência de triunfos ainda maior e se disse contente com as inúmeras chances criadas pela equipe ao longo do jogo no Sul Fluminense.

– Como é a nossa sexta vitória consecutiva, os jogadores estão de parabéns. Vamos valorizar muito mais o aspecto positivo. Criamos bastante de novo. Desperdiçamos algumas oportunidades que logo não vamos desperdiçar mais. E se continuarmos criando desse jeito, certamente poderemos conquistar mais vitórias ainda na sequência – comemorou Mano.

O treinador do Cruzeiro também destacou a longa invencibilidade do Volta Redonda, que não perdia desde o primeiro semestre de 2016. O time conquistou a Série D de forma invicta e no Carioca deste ano também está invicto. No grupo de Vasco e Fluminense, o Voltaço briga com o Cruz-Maltino pela última vaga nas semifinais da Taça Guanabara.

– O primeiro tempo foi mais jogado, estudado e trabalhado. Oscilamos um pouco em determinados momentos, mas temos que valorizar muito a vitória aqui, porque ninguém vencia aqui desde abril do ano passado. E se uma equipe mantém uma invencibilidade tão grande, durante tanto tempo, é porque ela tem mérito e o Cruzeiro teve muito mérito em derrotar essa equipe – finalizou.

O Cruzeiro volta a campo no próximo fim de semana. O adversário é o URT, no Sábado, em Patos de Minas, válido pela 4° rodada do Campeonato Mineiro.

Beginning with an edge that was almost a nervous first step, Hooper grew in confidence, driving through the covers in the twinkle of an eye. The nimble footwork a veritable sashay down the ramp and silken timing the poise and elegance of the world’s finest. An unbeaten 108 (226 balls, 14 boundaries) resulted – the third century in as many first class matches for the Guyana and West Indies skipper.Dasgupta said before the start of this Test that it was imperative for him to improve in a hurry – and that this series could make or break his career. وأعلن مانشستر يونايتد الأسبوع الماضي عن تعيين تين هاج مديرًا فنيًا للشياطين الحمُر اعتبارًا من الموسم القادم ولمدة 3 مواسم أخرى.

مانشستر يونايتد لم يفز بأي ألقاب في المواسم الخمسة الماضية، ولم يتمكن من التتويج بالدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، مُنذ رحيل فيرجسون في 2013.

Ex-zagueiro de clubes como Internacional, Fluminense e São Paulo, Régis começou a trabalhar com a equipe na última quarta-feira. O novo técnico chega com a missão de tirar o time da lanterna do Grupo B do Campeonato Goiano.

Speaking exclusively to The Transfer Tavern, former Newcastle United defender Steve Howey believes Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo could go up another level at St. James’ Park, where he would have better players around him.

Adarabioyo was one of Fulham’s better performers last season in a disappointing campaign, with Scott Parker even tipping the 23-year-old to make the England squad in the near future.

He is now being linked with a move to Newcastle and could join the Magpies for just £10m due to a release clause, reports the Daily Mail.

And for Howey, it is a move that would make sense from Adarabioyo’s perspective. On the central defender, the ex-Newcastle player told TT:

“Normally what tends to happen is clubs that get relegated, other clubs will pick the carcass off it and they just pick the best players. Look at what happened to Bournemouth last year, for example.

“Decent player. Could he perform even better with some solid players around him? You know, possibly.”

According to the same Daily Mail report, Arsenal are also interested in Adarabioyo, so Newcastle could face some serious competition for his signature.

At 6 ft 5, though, the former Manchester City man looks capable of adding some real height and presence to Newcastle’s backline so looks well worth pursuing, especially after the season he has just had.
