علق محمد بركات عضو مجلس إدارة اتحاد الكرة على غياب محمد صبحي حارس مرمى الزمالك عن مباراة الأهلي اليوم التي تجمع بينهما ضمن منافسات كأس السوبر الإفريقي.
ويلتقي الأهلي مع الزمالك، على أرضية استاد المملكة أرينا في الرياض بالسعودية، في نهائي كأس السوبر الإفريقي 2024.
وقال محمد بركات في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة “ام بي سي مصر2”: “غياب محمد صبحي للإصابة ومشاركة عواد لا يمثل أي فارق، لأن عواد كان يشارك لفترة طويلة، وهذه المباراة تلعب على جزئيات بسيطة جدًا”.
وتابع: “لم أخسر أي مباراة أمام الزمالك من قبل، وكان معنا جيل محترم في الأهلي، وكلنا كنا نساعد بعض وكنا نحترم الزمالك جدًا جدًا”.

واستطرد: “كنا في غاية التركيز بشدة، بعض المباريات تكون صعبة علينا جدًا، مر علينا أصعب مباراتين، 3-3 ونهائي كأس مصر 2007”.
وأضاف: “لم أكن من اللاعبين الذين يعانون من الشد العصبي قبل المباراة، الزمالك مثله مثل أي فريق، وائل جمعة لم يكن يضحك لأنه إذا ابتسم فقد تركيزه، وأبو تريكة كان يركز أحيانًا ويهدأ أحيانًا أخرى، رجل وسطي”.
وواصل: “كولر أهم شيء بالنسبة له اللعب على نقاط الضعف المتواجدة في الزمالك، إذا ضغط على مدافعي الزمالك سيجد أخطاءً كثيرة، الأبيض في مباراتي الشرطة الكيني حدثت عنده أخطاء دفاعية كثيرة”.
وأوضح: “الجميع يرون أن الأهلي أفضل من الزمالك بناءً على الفترة الماضية ولكن مباريات القمة ليست لها أي مقاييس”.
واختتم: “عندما نقدم كرة جيدة في مباراة الأهلي والزمالك، نقول للعالم أننا في مصر لدينا كرة جيدة، أتوقع أننا سنرى مباراة جيدة”.

Leeds United turn their attention back to the Championship this afternoon as they prepare to host Rotherham at Elland Road after their FA Cup win during the week.
The Whites secured a meeting with Premier League side Chelsea in the next round of the competition with a 4-1 win over Plymouth Argyle at Home Park.
They now return to Yorkshire for a clash with the Millers, who are rooted to the bottom of the table with three wins to their name, as they look to build on their five successive victories in the division.
Daniel Farke could now look to make some alterations to the starting XI that was selected against Plymouth, as a number of role players were provided an opportunity to impress, and one player who should be unleashed is Crysencio Summerville.

Jaidon Anthony started the match on the left wing and had a solid, albeit unspectacular, display but should move over to allow one of the club's star men to return.

The 24-year-old attacker played 82 minutes of action against Plymouth on Tuesday night and was unable to register a goal or an assist for his team.
However, the Bournemouth loanee did create four chances for his teammates, albeit zero 'big chances', and completed 100% (2/2) of his attempted dribbles.

This shows that there were some promising signs from the English whiz, who could be a decent option to bring off the bench this afternoon.
Anthony has produced one goal and zero assists in 21 Championship appearances, two of which came as a starter, since his move to Yorkshire last summer.
He has been unfortunate in the sense that Summerville has been in extraordinary form this season in his position, which is why the Dutch winger should replace him for this clash with Rotherham.

Farek could terrify the Millers by unleashing the former Feyenoord youngster ahead of Anthony as they have conceded the most goals (54) in the division and he has the quality to potentially make light work of their defence.
Summerville has been one of the best wingers in the Championship so far this season with his ability to provide a constant threat as a scorer and a creator of goals.

Newcastle United have made some brilliant signings since the takeover by the Saudi Prince Investment Fund (PIF) back in 2021.
The Magpies have brought in players such as Alexander Isak and Bruno Guimaraes for hefty fees, with both players crucial as the club secured Champions League football for the first time in 20 years last season.
Since the arrival of the PIF in 2021, the club have spent over £420m on players, with the board investing a huge amount to improve the playing squad.
Despite this, the club have had many quality players within their ranks over the last decade with many of them playing their best football away from St James' Park.
One of those left the club in 2018, being a huge hit in the Premier League, before making another huge move in the summer of 2023.

Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic joined the Magpies for £13m back in the summer of 2015, with the Serbian signing a five-year deal at St James' Park.
During his stint on Tyneside, the forward scored 17 times in 72 outings for the club, in a spell that wasn't as successful as both parties would've expected upon his arrival.
The Serbian striker is known for his aggressive playstyle, with Mitrovic receiving two red cards during his three-year spell at the club.
He spent the last year at the club on loan at Championship side Fulham, scoring 12 goals in a spell that saw the London side gain promotion after beating Aston Villa at Wembley in the play-off final.
His successful loan stint at Fulham saw the Cottagers fork out £22m for the striker, with Mitrovic ending his three-year stint at Newcastle with the club making £9m profit on the Serbian.

It was during the two Championship campaigns that followed that the former Newcastle man impressed, scoring 26 times in 2019/20 before a record-breaking season that no one could've predicted.
Fulham produced an utterly dominant campaign that saw the club win the Championship – with Mitrovic pivotal to the club's success. The Serbian scored 43 times in 44 league outings, smashing Ivan Toney's record for the most goals in a single Championship season.

He scored 14 times in 24 league games, a record that attracted interest from clubs all over the world. However, he decided to move to Saudi Arabia, joining Al Hilal for around £40m – a fee that would break Fulham's record sale.

Victory here in the last of the Vitality T20 Blast quarter-finals was deserved, emphatic, and based on the same hard-nosed template of cricketing nous that has served Gloucestershire themselves over the years.Having restricted the home side to a total some way below par, their prolific top-four batsmen all but knocked off the target of 136 on their own, victory arriving with 17 balls to spare. Billy Godleman, Luis Reece, Wayne Madsen and Leus du Plooy had struck 1,384 runs between them in the North Group stage; they will head to Edgbaston on September 21 with that total now on exactly 1,500.”It is a huge relief, not just to me but to everyone involved with the club,” Madsen admitted after receiving the Man of the Match award for his 47. “It has been a great day for us.
