Sarah Taylor has left Lancashire Lightning for Surrey Stars, with Alex Hartley going the other way, while Tammy Beaumont moves to Southern Vipers from Surrey. There has also been a straight swap between Loughborough Lightning and Yorkshire Diamonds of Jenny Gunn for Beth Langston. The changes are overseen by the ECB and aimed at keeping a balance between the six sides, ahead of the third edition of the T20 competition. Each of the teams will still be able to recruit their own overseas players.”The latest player movements are to ensure the best balance between the six sides and to maintain a fair and competitive competition with the over-arching principle of trying to ensure a best versus best competition,” KSL general manager Jo Kirk said.”We want the KSL to continue to go from strength to strength in its third year. Attendances rose by 44% last year and we’re looking forward to even more fans attending games this summer, hopefully culminating in a sold-out Finals Day down in Hove.”This year’s KSL begins on July 22 and features an expanded group stage, with the teams now playing each other twice. The top three will then go on to Finals Day at Hove on Bank Holiday Monday, August 27.

Leeds: Farke could forget Sinisterra by unleashing ‘incredible’ talent

With the dreaded international break now at an end, attention can now return to what really matters, with Leeds United hoping to kickstart their season away to Millwall this afternoon following what has been an underwhelming start to life back in the Championship.

The Yorkshire giants are currently languishing in the bottom half of the table after picking up just six points from their opening five league games of the new campaign, with the arrival of promotion expert Daniel Farke – who twice steered Norwich City into the Premier League – having yet to have the desired affect.

In the German's defence, he has had to steady the ship amid what has been a choppy summer for the club with 15 players having sought out pastures new, although patience will likely begin to wear thin if the 46-year-old – and his nine new additions – don't begin to catch fire before too long.

What is the Leeds United team news vs Millwall?

As Farke revealed in his pre-match press conference on Friday, the Whites' injury woes look to be easing up somewhat, with the likes of Patrick Bamford, Stuart Dallas and Junior Firpo seemingly the only definite absentees for the trip to The Den.

Leeds boss Daniel Farke.

The ex-Borussia Monchengladbach boss did, however, reveal that there are doubts regarding the fitness of recent loan arrival, Djed Spence, with the 23-year-old having taken a "knock" to the knee earlier in the week.

Despite that potential setback, the likes Liam Cooper, Dan James and Sam Bryam are all in contention for this crunch clash, while it could also be an opportunity for summer signing Jaidon Anthony to make his first outing for his new club.

Will Jaidon Anthony play against Millwall?

The 23-year-old was signed from AFC Bournemouth on a season-long loan deal on deadline day, with that move seeing fellow winger Luis Sinisterra head in the other direction on an initial temporary basis, after just a solitary campaign at Elland Road.

While the latter man did endure an injury-disrupted 2022/23 season, he was still able to outline his quality after netting seven times in just 22 games in all competitions, while also getting off the mark this season in the 4-3 thriller against Ipswich Town.

To then lose such a "crucial player" – as described by Farke – so late in the window does look to have been something of a blow to Leeds' promotion hopes, although in Anthony, the club have found a "proven Championship player", in the words of his new manager.

The young Englishman was also the recipient of stellar praise from ex-Cherries boss Scott Parker in the past, with the former Chelsea and West Ham United midfielder stating: "…Jaidon Anthony is a player that goes under the radar, massively to be quite honest with you. What he does for this team is nothing short of incredible at times.

"I think we see his quality, his calmness, his silkiness when he makes good decisions."

Such 'quality' was evident during his last stint in the second tier as the London-born speedster scored eight goals and contributed six assists from his 45 league outings for the south coast side, illustrating what a devastating "threat" he can be against Championship defences – as hailed by fan pundit Kris Smith.

To have lost a figure like Sinisterra so late in the day may appear hard to recover from, although if Anthony can rediscover his prior Bournemouth form, then Leeds could well forget all about their £21m addition.

"He needs to be careful" – Journalist reacts to exit links out of Leeds

Leeds United lost several senior players over the summer during an interesting squad rebuild, and now a fresh claim has emerged regarding the future of one young star at Elland Road.

Will Leeds lose key players?

The Whites suffered the misery of being relegated from the Premier League last season, returning to the Championship for the first time since the 2019/20 season. They went into the new campaign as one of the favourites to earn promotion, even after Daniel Farke's squad was somewhat gutted, and they have made a solid start to the season despite Saturday's result.

Those who left in the summer were replaced with some particularly exciting signings, with Ethan Ampadu in the middle of the park and Joel Piroe leading the line perhaps the standouts of the bunch.

For the Whites to make a quickfire return to the Premier League, these individuals will need to perform, with Farke also making sure the gets the best out of his squad and rotates effectively, keeping players fresh in the process.

There is always the risk that more stars could move away from Elland Road, however, especially if they don't look like going up come January, and an interesting comment has emerged reading one Leeds ace.

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke.

Which Leeds player could leave the club?

Speaking to Give Me Sport, journalist Dean Jones reacted to Archie Gray's links with Crystal Palace, hinting that it could be a mistake to leave his boyhood club so early:

"Yeah, I mean, he is exactly on profile with the sort of recruitment Palace are putting in place at the moment. And it's no surprise that they are continuing to scout him. But he is very young, he needs to be careful he doesn't make a move that does not end up benefiting his career right now.

"Patience is probably needed for him at Leeds as he won't be starting every week. But with the way things are going, being in a positive environment and in a team that looks like doing very well in the Championship, he could benefit from becoming a big part of this rather than a small part of a project somewhere else."

Gray may still only be 17 years of age, but he has outlined what a great talent he is already this season, starting seven times in the Championship. In that time, the midfielder has averaged one tackle per game and completed 81% of his passes, as well as 93.3% across two EFL Cup appearances, highlighting his ability on the ball.

The teenager is contracted to the club until the summer of 2025, but he is such a big prospect that Leeds should look to extend his stay beyond that date, retaining his services for as long as possible. That being said, his head could potentially be turned by a move elsewhere, especially if he is promised regular time, so there is the threat that he could depart before his time at Elland Road even properly gets started.

Former Whites striker Jermaine Beckford has hailed Gray as "phenomenal" and Farke has called him "unbelievable", and he should only grow as a player as the years go on, so losing him would be a real blow.

Mikel Arteta eyeing move for "huge talent" in January; he supports Arsenal

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is looking to bolster his offensive options in January and one star who has previously been on the radar at the Emirates Stadium is once again being assessed as a potential addition, according to reports.

What's the latest news involving Arsenal?

According to reports in Spain via GOAL, the Gunners are believed to be embroiled in a three-way fight to sign Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez, with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur providing competition for the signature of the Mexico international.

It is claimed that Eredivisie champions Feyenoord are likely to command a hefty transfer fee in the region of €50 million (£43.3 million) for the 22-year-old, who has notched ten goals and two assists in eight appearances across all competitions this term, as per Transfermarkt.

Newcastle United icon Alan Shearer has had his say on Arsenal summer signing Kai Havertz's consistency following the Germany international's first goal for the Gunners from the penalty spot in their 4-0 victory over Bournemouth on Saturday. Stating on Match of the Day via Football London, Shearer said:

"When you look at his numbers, there's definitely a player in there. When you look at his ability, it doesn't match his numbers. They need to improve. You know that you have to pay £60-70million for a squad player these days, so he'll play his part – whether he'll be a regular, I don't think so."

Recently, developments have emerged claiming that Arsenal will look to make a swoop for Brentford striker Ivan Toney in the January transfer window as Gunners boss Arteta looks to acquire another striking option. Arsenal travel to Champions League newcomers Lens on Tuesday evening and will be aiming to take six points from six in Europe's premier competition ahead of their crunch tie against Manchester City in the Premier League on Sunday.

Who could Arsenal sign?

The Mirror report that Arsenal, and by extension sporting director Edu Gaspar, are casting an eye over Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Pedro Neto, who was previously earmarked as a target for the Gunners in the summer of 2022.

Nevertheless, Neto, an Arsenal supporter, may prove to be a difficult player to land in the January transfer window due to his blistering start to proceedings in 2023/24, where he has emerged as a key player under Old Gold boss Gary O'Neil.

Neto, who is 23 years of age, has registered one goal and four assists in seven outings for Wolves in the Premier League this campaign and has carried the torch in attack for his current employers, as per Transfermarkt.

Becoming a nuisance to backlines across the English top flight, Neto has averaged 1.6 shots, 2.6 key passes and 2.3 completed dribbles per fixture so far this term, according to WhoScored.

Once branded a "huge talent" by Premier League all-time top goalscorer Shearer, Neto finally looks to be delivering on his initial promise at Molineux and will have no shortage of suitors if he maintains his impressive vein of form.

Prominent Portuguese football outlet Proxima Jornada have emphasised Neto's impact at Wolves this campaign by posting a detailed collection of statistics on social media platform X produced by the Portugal international, as they stated:

"Pedro Neto is enjoying himself this season. The Wolves man ranks in the top 7 or higher in the Premier League for the following: 4 assists (1st). 17 successful crosses (2nd). 4 big chances created (4th). 6 combined G+A (4th). 16 dribbles completed (5th). 18 chances created (7th)."

Arsenal may well be keen to strengthen their attacking options in January and acquiring Neto would help to bolster competition for places in the final third.
